What mental defect would cause someone to exhibit the following behavior's?

Doesnt tell the truth, is not dependable in returning calls or showing up on time,makes up stories then denies they occured, is constantly trying to impress others ( joins every group or activity for awhile then suddenly has no interest in it anymore,brags about income and travels,throws parties but wants people to help pay for them)....is this a mental defect or just a good old fashioned case of being a blow hard/wannabe??
