Do you think more could have been done to warn the students are VT?

I agree, although think about how easy it was for the shooter to completely blend in with everyone else on campus. He shoots two people, puts the gun in his book bag, leaves the building before the police arrive and before anyone even knows what is going on. Once he is on the campus he is a student just like all the rest. If they had the manpower to lock down the whole school immediately and detain everyone on campus within minutes the other victims probably would be alive. On the flip side of that - college funding goes toward the education of the students, imagine what sort of tuition costs would be ociated to having a small armed force capable of locking down the entire school, every building, within a minute or two of a violent incident, 24 hours a day? Nobody would be able to afford college ever again.
