A question about religion?! think about this one before you answer it.?

Okay all you believers, if the Christian church and the vatican are worth billions of pounds (this is verifiable) and probably the richest organisation in the world, and taking into account Jesus Christ teachings, why is there major imbalance between them and the millions of people dying of hunger every day? forget any answer about free will, answer that with rationale and a ounce of logic? if the pope cares so much for the human race.. why does he not give up any morsel of food and wealth he owns to the poor? God/The bible ask you to have faith? why don't you ask for proof and stop being so gullible? in the past people who disputed the integrity of Christianity were pointed at as being Satanist and witches, and even burnt, with the blessing of the church.. look at the whole slave issue, and the church involvement. the church turned a blind eye during WW2 at the oppression of Jews, and who was the "King of the Jews" ? why are people so gullible?
