Where do you place the interests of Israel ?

Israel is the only country in the Middle East that shares the US's strengths as a democratic nation with free elections and a free press. The smart thing to do is to size up Israel's enemies and protect that country from further intrusions from fundamental extremists crossing its border. Israel can be criticized for wanting protection but you can't argue that protecting one's borders, peoples, and safety of neighbors to be bad policy. I place Israel's interest to be America's interest.
